Wow! Long Time No Posting

Wow!  It has been a long time since I last posted.  It has been very creative behind the scenes.  There is a lot to show from it, in many genres and media.    On this site, I add images of the fine art.

Over the past two days, I have been in practice mode, with interesting results.  Those results happen to fit my definition of fine art.

Please be aware, as I said, there are many genres and many media.  In the fine art category it varies from realism to contemporary, varying as well with media.  These are the last two days "practice" sessions.

These "fiddle ferns" are closely related.  This is what they looked like before I began coloring them in.  There are now colored in, and the background gets done next in rich, cobalt blue.  How would you color them, with that color background?  Soon, you will see how I did it.  That means you will have to come back again.

The following are different perspectives of the the final picture in the series, which reveals what you are looking at.

The next piece is in colored pencil.  This is Passing By, and was drawn this morning.  It measures approximately 9x12.  It is for sale at a reasonable price, if you are interested.  It is available for $200.00.

Leave an artist waiting at the train station for an hour, and this artist drew this, then colored it with colored pencil.  Time On My Hands measures 4x4", and is available for purchse for $75.00.

Questions I ask about art as I create it.  This is one hours worth of questions.  One Hour's Worth was an excersise in keeping notes artistically, as a reference material, and to be developed further.  Next:  color.

You never know what a design will develop into.  What if that vine was a road, and the flowers were cypress trees?  What if the road was a pice of steal, what would the 'trees' be?  What if the trees were red chili peppers, or cheartreause hot peppers?  What if it was a flame?  Show me.

Graphite reflects badly on this image, disguising your view of the piece.  At the same time, it offers some interesting white, on the close up image, which is not there at all.  This image is useful as well.  This image is about 4x6", graphite on archival paper, and available for puchase for $50.  It is called The Lady Across the Room, because that is exactly where she was.  She was that pretty too.  I am glad it translated to the paper.  I am a conduit for art.  Thank you Lord!

Well, there you have it: another hour's worth of my time.  Hope you enjoyed it.

Whew! Lot's Being Created

Wow, I have been busy packing, but along the way, I am creating.  Here are some pics of what I am creating.

These are not scissors.  It is a graphite drawing.  It doesn't look like I have signed them.  I am sure it is there somewhere.
